Down East Dance is pleased to announce our 2024 Ballet Summer Intensive & Class/Workshop Schedule!  Please note enrollment requirements, new students - please contact the studio for class guidance. 

Ballet Intensives with Sokvannara Sar

& Cassidy Prince of The Carolina Ballet

Beginner/Intermediate

Ages 10+

(must have at least 2 years 

of ballet experience)

July 29, 30, 31 & August 1

10am-12noon, $150

Intermediate/Advanced

Ages 13+

(must have at least 3 years 

of ballet experience)

2-5pm, $200

Beginner Ballet

Ages 6-10

Perfect for those wanting to try ballet as well as for our current Ballet 1 students. Emphasis on mastering ballet basics 

& technique.

CHOREOGRAPHY INTENSIVES

Ages 12+

Learn FUN dance combinations & choreography in four styles of dance!

June 26, 4-7pm - MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE (no singing)

Please wear leotard/tights/dance shorts or pants, or fitted, workout style clothing.  No denim, no dresses.  We have extra dancewear & shoes to borrow if needed.  Please bring a snack.

Barbie Dance Camp!

Ages 8-12

Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz & Hip Hop technique & choreography, dance arts & games too!  Age-appropriate music & movement used.  Informal performance at end of week for family & friends.

Dance Camp Mini! Mouse Party! (inspired by the Mouse & his friends such as Olaf, Goofy, & Ariel & more!)

Ages 8-12

Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz & Hip Hop technique & choreography using glowing props, GLOW arts & crafts & games too!  Age-appropriate music & movement used.  Informal performance at end of week for family & friends.

June 24-28, 2-5PM, $150
